Tiki Snack Mix

- 8 Thick Slices of Meaty Bacon
- 3 cup Salted Peanuts
- 4 Candied Pineapple Rings (cut into 1/3" triangles)
- 2 tbsp Sesame Seeds
- 1 tbsp Low Sodium Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Arrange the bacon in a single layer on a rack set over a large rimmed baking sheet. Bake for 30 minutes, until bacon is crisp. Drain on paper towel and cut into ½ inch strips.
In a bowl, toss bacon with the peanuts, pineapple, sesame seeds, soy sauce, honey and cayenne. Spread on a rimmed baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, stirring once until bacon is brown.
Season the mix with salt and stir occasionally until cool. Serve and enjoy.
A delicious snack for parties or family night in front of the TV.
*Tip: If you are allergic to peanuts, swap them out for another nut.

White Sauce
- 20 oz Milk
- 2 oz Butter or Margarine
- 2 oz Flour
- Salt and Pepper (to taste)
Melt butter in a thick bottom pan.
Add flour and mix in until a firm mixture.
Cook for a little bit longer.
Gradually add milk and stir each time until smooth.
Allow to reach a low boil, remove from heat and use.

Chocolate and Peanut Butter Protein Bars (or Balls)
- 1 cup Oats
- 1/3 cup Honey
- 1/2 cup Natural Peanut Butter
- 1 cup Shredded Coconut
- 1 Square of Milk or Dark Chocolate
- 2 Scoops of Chocolate Protein Powder
Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl. Mix together with a spoon.
Roll into balls and place on a plate covered in wax paper.
Top the plate with aluminum foil and place balls in refrigerator for 30 minutes before consuming.

Classic Mexican Guacamole
- 1 Large Ripe Avocado
- 1 Freshly Squeezed Lime
- 1 Onion (minced or finely chopped)
- 1 Jalapeño (minced or finely chopped)
- 1/4 tsp Salt

Curried Parsnip Soup
- 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 1 Red Onion (chopped)
- 3 Parsnips (chopped)
- 2 Garlic Cloves (crushed)
- 2 tsp Garam Masala
- 1 1/2 tsp Chili Powder
- 1 tbsp Plain A.P. Flour
- 3 3/4 cup Vegetale Stock
Heat oil and butter until melted, add onions, parsnips, garlic and sauté for 5-7 min, stirring until soft.
Add spices and cook 30 seconds, sprinkle flour in, mix well for 30 seconds. Stir in stock, lemon rind and juice.
Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
Blend the soup to the chunkiness you want. (You can reserve some of the chunks for add after to a smoother soup)
Season to taste.
